Employee Training Director

Develops the development and administration of organization training programs. Develops training objectives, strategies, policies, and programs. Directs the implementation of policies and procedures related to various training and educational programs for the employees of an organization. Directs and mentors staff of trainers. Clinical Research Executive

Responsible for management review and control of comprehensive clinical research programs to increase scientific knowledge on medical-related topics.: Confers with management to establish strategic program directions, allocation of resources, projects costs, and timeframes. Ensures coordination among a variety of scientific disciplines and staff functions to ensure that departmental objectives are met. Hire, trains, and motivates a qualified research management staff. Develops and manages the department budget and creatively utilizes resources to complete projects. Draws conclusions and makes recommendations that typically have a major impact on scientific research activities. This position typically requires a Doctorate degree in a health care related field with related clinical research management experience. Clinical scientists who work within a university setting are typically involved in the teaching of students. May represent the organization in forums and conferences within area of expertise.

Clinical Research Manager

Oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of ongoing and new clinical research studies. Assists in all aspects of study design, implementation, and administration. Plans and organizes the daily operations of the Research Department, to include protocol and systems, budgeting, staffing, and grant/contract administration. Reports to the Chief Medical Officer. : Provides day-to-day technical leadership and administrative supervision to clinical and technical staff engaged in research. Ensures regulatory and scientific integrity of projects. Evaluates, monitors, and documents all study parameters. Provides initial contract review utilizing legal review and provides contract management. Forecasts product requirements for clinical trials. Organizes advisory and investigator meetings. Develops, implements, and evaluates specific research and data collection methodologies, protocols, systems, and techniques. Participates in experiment design. Develops quality standards and programs. Oversees budget review process and negotiations. Participates in staff hiring, provides training, allocates and coordinates work assignments, and evaluates performance of staff.

Clinical Services Director

Establishes appropriate levels of care and provides strategic direction and oversight of all clinical and educational programs in a hospice or home care organization. Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates outcomes of clinical service's strategic plans. Leads the development, implementation, and coordination of quality, cost effective patient care programs, contributing to excellent patient care, education, and outcomes. Supervisor Clinical Engineering

Oversees planning, implementing, directing, and controlling activities, operations, and programs in the Clinical Engineering department. Typically requires a college degree and technical proficiency/knowledge of concepts, operation, repairs, and clinical equipment maintenance that may be acquired through three years of related clinical engineering experience.: Develops routine periodic maintenance, quality assurance testing, calibration, performance criteria, and emergency service response that will ensure safe and proper use of clinical equipment. Provides clinical engineering training and monitors employee work to ensure proper maintenance and of clinical equipment. Plans, organizes, and distributes the department work assignments. May order supplies and maintain supply inventory

Clinical Psychologist

Administers programs of treatment to mentally and emotionally disturbed individuals to help them with adjustments to their lives; helps medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries; assists in treating rehabilitation patients; and treats individuals in times of personal crisis, such as a divorce or death of a loved one. Interviews patients and studies medical and social case histories. Diagnoses or evaluates mental and emotional disorders of individuals, and administers programs of treatment. Typically requires a doctoral degree in field of specialty.: Observes patients and selects, administers, and interprets intelligence, achievement, interest, personality, and other psychological tests to diagnose disorders and formulate plans of treatment. Treats psychological disorders to effect improved adjustments utilizing various psychological techniques, such as milieu therapy, psychodrama, play therapy, and hypnosis. Selects approach to use in individual therapy, such as directive, non-directive, and supportive therapy, and plans frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy. May collaborate with Psychiatrist and other specialists in developing treatment programs for patients. May instruct and direct students serving psychological internships in hospitals and clinics. May develop experimental designs and conduct research in the fields of personality development and adjustment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders. May serve as a consultant to industrial, social, educational, welfare, and other agencies on individual cases or in evaluation, planning, and development of mental health programs. May specialize in behavior problems and therapy, crime and delinquency, group therapy, individual diagnosis and therapy, mental deficiency, objective tests, projective techniques, or speech pathology.

Clinical Therapist

Counsels individuals or groups regarding psychological or emotional problems, such as stress, substance abuse, or family situations, using evaluative techniques, and develops and implements therapeutic treatment plans in medical setting. Consults with medical doctor or other specialists concerning treatment plans and amends plans as directed. Typically requires advanced study in field of specialty.: Discusses progress toward goals with client, such as controlling weight, stress, or substance abuse. Conducts relaxation exercises, peer counseling groups, and family counseling during clinical therapy sessions. Interviews patient to obtain information concerning medical history or other pertinent information. Observes client to detect indications of abnormal physical or mental behavior. Selects and administers various tests, such as psychological tests, personality inventories, and intelligence quotient tests, to identify behavioral or personality traits and intelligence levels, and records results. Reviews results of tests to evaluate client needs. Plans and administers therapeutic treatment, such as behavior modification and stress management therapy, using biofeedback equipment, to assist patient in controlling disorders and other problems. Changes method and degree of therapy when indicated by client reactions. Refers client to supportive services to supplement treatment and counseling. May conduct research in treatment and test validation. May develop evaluative studies of therapy and therapy outcome.
