Commanding Officer Radio Division Communications Officer

Directs and coordinates various activities of personnel engaged in installing and maintaining municipal emergency and business radio communications equipment, and in operating police, fire, or other municipal radio transmitters: ensures that government regulations concerning installation and operation of municipal radio stations are complied with. Participates in operation, testing, and development of all types of police, fire, or other municipal communication systems. Submits required reports to designated authorities concerning communications equipment status, such as nature of business transacted over radio station, character of radio repairs made or needed, and general condition of municipal communications system. Chief Financial Officer

Regional Executive Officer Hospital System

Directs the overall operation and provides executive leadership in a regional hospital system.: This is the top executive and principal organization leader in a regional hospital system. Responsible for the profitability of the regional hospital system. Establishes strategic plans and guides implementation. Confers with executive management to plan operational objectives, to develop policies and procedures, to coordinate functions and operations between divisions and departments and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Directs and coordinates formulation of financial programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations and guides changes needed to reach financial goals. Represents the regional hospital system to major external authorities and constituencies. Selects and evaluates performance of executive staff for compliance with established policies and objectives and contributions in attaining objectives. An advanced degree in a field of health or business is typically required for this position.

Top Physician Hospital Network Executive

Organizes, directs and controls the operations of an integrated physician/hospital network that provides contracting opportunities for managed care payers.: Organizes, directs and controls the entire provider network function including network development, contracting, credentialing, provider relations, and provider services. Establishes physician and hospital recruitment priorities, determines compensation methodologies and negotiates contracts. Ensures a comprehensive, cost-effective, and accessible provider network. Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates, and renegotiates contracts. Formulates and coordinates proposals. Coordinates activities of workers engaged in formulating bid proposals. Evaluates or monitors health outcome and contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations. Approves or rejects requests for deviations from contract specifications. Arbitrates claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts. Child Care Center Director (Hospital run)

Oversees and directs the daily operations of a Child Care Center that is operated by a hospital system. Directs and supervises the work of staff in providing for the care and needs of children. Develops, maintains, and implements policies and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and five or more years of child care management experience.: Ensures that the Child Care Center meets all licensing regulations required for the care of children. Hospital Legal Services Head

Manages the activities of the legal staff. Assists upper management in providing legal advice and counsel on handling litigation and other legal matters involving the company. Assists in developing and modifying policies and procedures to conform to legal requirements. Drafts, reviews, or revises various company documents. Participates in complex legal projects. A graduate degree from an accredited law school is required to carry out the responsibilities at this level. Typically reports to a director and may have supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies the manager may be the first level supervisor over subordinate staff.: Provides department budget recommendations and assures optimum deployment of resources within approved budgets. Selects specific topics for review, such as problem procedures, drugs, high volume cases, high risk cases, or other factors. Compiles statistical data and writes narrative reports summarizing quality assurance findings. May review patient records, applying utilization review criteria, to determine need for admission and continued stay in hospital. May oversee personnel engaged in quality assurance review of medical records.

Hospital Cleaner

Cleans hospital patient rooms, baths, laboratories, offices, halls, and other areas.: Washes beds and mattresses, and remakes beds after dismissal of patients. Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition. Distributes laundered articles and linens. Replaces soiled drapes and cubicle curtains. Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies, using germicides and sterilizing equipment. Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors using brooms and mops and power scrubbing and waxing machines.
