Manages the promotion and direction of catering sales activities, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, luncheons, dinners, receptions, dances, anniversary events, business and club meetings, family reunions, holiday parties, and all meetings and food functions, to customers and prospects in the corporate and private market. Identifies and pursues prospective catering customers and secures new business. Maximizes catering revenues through networking, soliciting, grass roots sales, and referrals, attaining or exceeding the annual budget revenue goals and booking goals. Establishes a pipeline of short- and long-term sales leads. Maintains business relationships with past, current. and potential clients with personal visits, phone calls, e-mails and written correspondence. Serves as liaison between sales and other departments. Participates in budget preparation. Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volumes and potential sales. Interprets company policy to ensure company objectives are met. Promotes satisfactory customer relations. Keeps informed on company contract procedures and product pricing. May direct staffing and training to develop sales program.

Catering Director Event Planner

Directs, coordinates, and arranges for meetings and special events of various sizes. Plans logistics and negotiates contract(s) for conferences, and/or events with respect to budgets, speakers, entertainment, transportation, facilities, technology, equipment, printing, food and beverage, and other related issues. Plans catering functions with clients, supplying food and other services as agreed by the parties, and hires, trains, and supervises all staff in carrying out the event smoothly. Works with all-day group and banquet businesses to include weddings, rehearsal dinners, luncheons, dinners, receptions, dances, anniversary events, business and club meetings, family reunions, holiday parties, and all meetings and food functions. Coordinates all aspects of planning, which may include soliciting, booking, planning, and coordinating all associated events.: Negotiates terms, executes, and administers contracts with facilities vendors for service, in accordance with budget constraints and company policies and procedures. Designs and prepares various marketing materials, to include brochures and flyers, for meetings and conferences. Serves as the primary contact between contractors, clients, organizers, and organization operations to ensure smooth execution of all functions supporting the programs and events. Meets with clients to discuss their requirements for the event, such as number of guests and appropriate size of room, and offers menu choices and costs. Draws up contracts with clients covering all prior agreements. Directs event administrative requirements and logistics by developing and adhering to event contracts and confirmation agreements. Communicates requirements in advance to appropriate departments or outside vendors and follows up to ensure that corporate standards of quality and service are met. Maintains close working relationships with catering event hosts, and follows up with event hosts to ensure satisfaction and to maximize referrals. Ensures that catering areas are clean and that food is handled in a safe and sanitary manner in accordance with all regulations. Keeps accurate records of all costs. Presents bill to client and collects payment according to terms of contract. Attends to any problems that may arise during event or any complaints concerning food or services provided.

Commercial Catering Service Engineer

Provides service and maintenance on gas and/or electric commercial catering equipment such as ovens, fryers, burners, grills, steamers, dishwashers, and water boilers. Works on some light refrigeration equipment as necessary.: Responds to breakdowns of catering equipment in commercial kitchens, and repairs them quickly and efficiently. Regularly services catering equipment in commercial kitchens. Inspects gas equipment, ensuring compliance with the Gas Safety Regulations, and issues Gas Safety Inspection Certificates. Recommends replacement of worn out equipment, and may sell such equipment. Installs new catering equipment as necessary. May service and maintain commercial laundry equipment.

Sales Associate For Wireless Sales

Sells new wireless products and services. Assists new and existing customers with the purchase of wireless equipment and services. Presents products and services to prospective customers through demonstrations and development of wireless communications solutions.: Prospects and generates new sales opportunities. Conducts all required processes and procedures to implement new service upon completion of sale. Initiates follow-up contact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with all products and services purchased. Participates in the development and execution of promotional activities. Confers with organization officials to plan technical sales objectives, to develop sales policies, and to coordinate functions. Develops and maintains accounts and responds to bids and proposals. Meets with clients to evaluate their technical needs and to recommend and provide consulting solutions.: Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Evaluates the market position of competing technical products, services, and organizations and their marketing and sales techniques. Devises sales strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volume. Forecasts semi-annual and annual sales projections. Directs preparation of required reports. Interprets and enforces company policy and practices. Ensures the adequacy of sales training programs. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Catering Truck Operator

Drives lunch truck over regular scheduled route, and sells miscellaneous food specialties, such as sandwiches, box lunches, and beverages, to industrial and office workers, students, and to patrons of sports and public events. Loads and unloads truck. Maintains truck and food-dispensing equipment in sanitary condition and good working order. May prepare and wrap sandwiches for delivery. May push lunch-cart through departments of industrial establishment or office building to sell merchandise and be known as lunch-wagon operator.
