Marketing Sales Communications Manager

Conceives, develops, and administers the organization's advertising strategy including working with outside vendors to create advertising and promotional designs and campaigns. Develops and implements strategy and deliverables for press releases, advertising, seminars, public relations, and electronic and print mailing campaigns. Organizes and manages promotional communications and customer relationship programs between the organization, its external sales representatives and customers, and the advertising media. Manages sales administration and customer office activities. Reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing.: Collaborates with internal and external organizations in the development of promotional materials including service brochures, data sheets, ad copy, case studies, training, service or product presentations, tradeshows, conference booth signage/messaging, and website content. Develops print mail and web marketing strategy, content maintenance, updates, and minor/major revisions in collaboration with the product management team. Collaborates with Accounting and Sales Managers to develop and manage administrative procedures and processes for customer contact, pre-sale processing of customer requests, and sales orders handling including customer and distributor credit qualification, resolution of order discrepancies, payment collection issues, and post-sales customer follow up. Develops and maintains metrics for tracking results of Marketing Communications programs. Organizes trade shows, seminars, and sales meetings. Implements and maintains program's) for sales lead processing/tracking and customer database as well as customer after-sale follow up.

City Service Supervisor

Selects passenger bus depot sites along routes and sets up agreement between company and agent. Inspects depots to ensure maintenance of company standards for food and passenger comfort facilities. Collects and audits ticket sales and computes agent's commission. Advises agent of bus schedule changes. Investigates accidents and arranges settlements.

Human Resources Communications Manager

Reviews final proofs and approves or makes changes. Reviews and evaluates work of staff members and makes recommendations and changes. May manage human resources Internet site for communications to employees and for online enrollments, changes, etc. May assist in selecting and preparing material for publication in magazines, house organs, and related publications. May prepare news or public relations releases, special brochures, and similar materials.

Network/Data Communications Manager

Manages, coordinates, and monitors activities of employees engaged in supporting the organization's telecommunications and PC network activities, including documentation, administration, technical services, and procurement. This position typically reports to director level, is typically the second level of management, and may have first level supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies the manager may be the first level supervisor over subordinate staff. Typically requires eight to ten years of increasingly responsible experience in network operations, analysis, and design.: Reviews report of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to ascertain costs and plan operating changes within department. Manages the testing and analysis of all network components including complex software, hardware, and transmission systems. Recommends corrective actions in order to ensure high quality, efficient network performance. Oversees the development of project plans designed to implement new technology and enhance existing systems. Develops and implements policies and standards and ensures their conformance to the organization's security procedures and company objectives. Confers with various vendors to evaluate hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment and recommends procurement in coordination with department and organization standards. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of network operating systems and network management tools, as well as extensive experience with telecommunications hardware such as LAN hubs, fiber optics, bridges, routers, universal cabling, gateways, etc.

City Manager

Directs and coordinates administration of city or county government in accordance with policies determined by city council or other authorized elected officials: appoints department heads and staffs as provided by state laws or local ordinances. Supervises activities of departments performing functions such as collection and disbursement of taxes, law enforcement, maintenance of public health, construction of public works, and purchase of supplies and equipment. Prepares annual budget and submits estimates to authorized elected officials for approval. Plans for future development of urban and nonurban areas to provide for population growth and expansion of public services. May recommend zoning regulation controlling location and development of residential and commercial areas urban planner. City Plant Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in construction, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electric power equipment, such as powerplants, cables, wiring, and teleprinters in central offices and at outside facilities: directs placing and removal of cross-connections on wire-distributing frames. Directs installation of traffic trunklines through switchboard and switchroom. Schedules periodic inspections and tests of equipment to prevent service interruptions. Keeps records of trouble reports and repairs made. Performs other duties as described under supervisor. May be designated according to area supervised as central-office supervisor; city-plant supervisor; district-plant supervisor; inside-plant supervisor; outside-plant supervisor.

Correction Officer City or County Jail

Guards inmates in penal institution in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures: observes conduct and behavior of inmates to prevent disturbances and escapes. Inspects locks, window bars, grills, doors, and gates for tampering. Searches inmates and cells for contraband articles. Guards and directs inmates during work assignments. Patrols assigned areas for evidence of forbidden activities, infraction of rules, and unsatisfactory attitude or adjustment of prisoners. Reports observations to superior. Employs weapons or force to maintain discipline and order among prisoners, if necessary. May escort inmates to and from visiting room, medical office, and religious services. May guard entrance of jail to screen visitors. May prepare written report concerning incidences of inmate disturbances or injuries. May be designated according to institution as correction officer, city or county jail; correction officer, penitentiary; correction officer, reformatory. May guard prisoners in transit between jail, courtroom, prison, or other point, traveling by automobile or public transportation and be designated guard, deputy.

City-Planning Engineer

Develops short- and long-term comprehensive plans and programs for development, growth, revitalization, and utilization of land and physical facilities of cities, counties, and metropolitan areas to maximize quality of life for the community and its residents. Compiles and analyzes data on economic, social, and physical factors affecting land use, projects future community needs, and prepares or requisitions graphic and narrative reports on data. Requires a four-year college degree in urban planning, civil engineering, or a related field in addition to additional training and job experience in planning and development.: Confers with local authorities, civic leaders, social scientists, and land planning and development specialists to devise and recommend arrangements of land and physical facilities for residential, commercial, industrial, and community uses. Recommends governmental measures affecting land use, public utilities, community facilities, and housing and transportation to control and guide community development and renewal. May review and evaluate environmental impact reports applying to specified private and public planning projects and programs. Usually employed by local government jurisdictions, but may work for any level of government, or for private consulting firms.

Editor City

Directs and supervises personnel engaged in selecting, gathering, and editing local news and news photographs for edition of newspaper: receives information regarding developing news events or originates story ideas and assigns coverage to members of reporting and photography staff. Reviews news copy and confers with executive staff members regarding allocation of news space. Sends copy to copy desk for editing. Reviews edited copy and sends to editor, news or composing room. May write or direct writing of headlines. May hire and discharge members of reporting staff. May perform other editorial duties as required. Designated state editor when working with state news and national editor when working with national news.
