Child Care Center Director (Hospital run)

Oversees and directs the daily operations of a Child Care Center that is operated by a hospital system. Directs and supervises the work of staff in providing for the care and needs of children. Oversees the Child Life Program in a college or university that prepares students to work with children and families within a healthcare setting or pursue a higher academic education. Directs an academic program that trains students to help patients and families cope with the fear, anxiety, and separation from home and school associated with a child's hospital stay.: Plans, develops, and implements the program to ensure quality educational experiences. Director Child Development Center

Directs activities of preschool, day care center, or other child development facility to provide instruction and care for children: prepares and submits facility budget to board of trustees, administrative agency, or owner for approval. Authorizes purchase of instructional materials and teaching aids, such as books, toys, and games designed to stimulate learning. Interviews and recommends hiring of teaching and service staff. Monitors child support payments awarded by court to ensure compliance and enforcement of child support laws. Prepares report of legal acttion taken when delinquency in payments occurs.
