Chief Financial Officer

Plan, direct, and coordinate accounting, investing, banking, insurance, securities, and other financial activities of a branch, office, or department of an establishment.

Commanding Officer Radio Division Communications Officer

Directs and coordinates various activities of personnel engaged in installing and maintaining municipal emergency and business radio communications equipment, and in operating police, fire, or other municipal radio transmitters: ensures that government regulations concerning installation and operation of municipal radio stations are complied with. Participates in operation, testing, and development of all types of police, fire, or other municipal communication systems. Submits required reports to designated authorities concerning communications equipment status, such as nature of business transacted over radio station, character of radio repairs made or needed, and general condition of municipal communications system. Cooperates with fire, weather station, and civil defense authorities to originate or relay emergency messages. In communities where equipment is used primarily for police broadcasts, may be a police officer and be designated according to rank as radio-division captain; radio-division lieutenant.

Financial Analysis Director

Guides and directs financial analysis, evaluation, and report generation activities of current and proposed financial plans in a manner designed to protect assets, meet reporting requirements, provide timely, meaningful reporting of operations, and effectively plan for and audit the financial needs of the firm. Oversees the financial analysis staff. Typically reports to Financial Top Officer and Financial Analysis Manager reports to this position.: Protects company assets through development and implementation of sound accounting policies and procedures. Provides for sound and timely managerial decisions and controls through provision of analyzed and evaluated financial operational data and information to management. Provisions adequate capital to meet current and future needs through development of an economical capital structure. Ensures optimum utilization of financial resources through sound forecasting and cash management. Minimizes tax liabilities through planning, researching, executing, and defending all Federal, State, local and foreign taxes applicable to the corporation. Ensures continuing departmental effectiveness through selection, training, development, and motivation of a competent staff.

Financial-Decision Support Analyst

Identifies, analyzes, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity.: Uses computer software for research, audit, and analysis of clinical and business data to help identify and understand opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. Selects appropriate statistical methods. Provides accurate and useful reports about potential business opportunities. Remains current on data sources and analysis tools. This position typically requires a Bachelor's and three years of clinical or financial analysis work experience in a healthcare environment. May be responsible for recommending strategic alternatives and developing operational plans.

Financial Analysis Supervisor

Supervises, coordinates, documents, and participates in professional level analyses of information affecting financial and accounting programs of public, industrial, and/or financial organizations. Interprets data concerning investments, their price, yield, stability, and future trends, using financial periodicals, securities manuals, and personal interviews. May oversee a number of clerical and financial analyst staff members. This position typically reports to a manager and is the first level of supervision in the organization.: Constructs charts and graphs regarding investments, revenues, expenses, budgets, trends, and various other financial areas. Summarizes data setting forth current and long-term trends in investment risks and measurable economic influences pertinent to status of investments. May perform research and make analyses relative to losses and adverse financial trends and suggest remedial measures.

Financial Analyst

Analyzes past and present financial data of organization and estimates future revenues and expenditures, applying principles of finance. Conducts and documents financial analysis projects. Assists organization with financial functions, such as assessing, auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control, and project control. Evaluates and analyzes capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc. : Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses. Documents revenues and expenditures expected and submits to management. Develops financial/accounting concepts for financial planning and control. Assists in preparation of special studies, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts. Advises management on matters, such as effective use of resources and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Interprets budgets to management. Conducts and may lead audits. May assist in financial analysis of legislative projects to develop capital improvement budget. May act as consultant to management on financial policies, procedures, and applications. May assist communities in developing budget and efficient use of funds. May provide functional and technical direction to other staff members.

Accountant Financial Analyst

Conducts statistical analysis and applies principles of accounting to analyze past and present financial operations and estimates future revenues and expenditures. To carry out responsibilities at this level typically requires a four-year degree. Excludes paraprofessionals.: Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred. Advises management regarding matters, such as effective use of resources and return on investments scenarios. May develop, install, and maintain accounting systems that provide control of investments, receivables, and expenditures.

Analyst Financial Accountant
