Serves as the liaison between the business and the IT Department to define and establish service and support requirements as well as facilitate and improve the effectiveness of communication. Understands the business, assists in the prioritization of projects, ensures that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment, and directs IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy. Manages customer plans and expectations. Negotiates Service Level Agreements (SLA). Coordinates overall solution design and delivery and reports on the status of projects, resolving any project issues. Evaluates project objectives and advises on project prioritization. Participates in the development of long-range technology strategies and directs projects towards desired technology strategies. Analyzes and advises on new business initiatives. Stays abreast of industry trends in the business and technology.
