Manages human resources plan, including developing job descriptions and employment application and interview forms. Defines components of employee handbook, conducts orientation for new employees, plans training for staff, and encourages ongoing professional development. Manages employee performance by maintaining personnel files, planning and conducting staff meetings, supervising staff, motivating employees, and conducting performance appraisals. Solicits, screens, interviews, and hires applicants and terminates employees as needed.
Owns and contracts out one or more gasoline or diesel-powered tractor-trailer combinations to transport and deliver products, livestock, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form. Finds and negotiates contracts for truck transportation and delivery advertising truck availability and by searching advertisements for company's wanting truck transportation and delivery.: Hires drivers or drives truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations, such as narrow passageways. Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition. Maintains driver log according to ICC regulations. Ensures that truck passes DOT inspections. May assist workers in loading and unloading truck.
Serves as the liaison between the business and the IT Department to define and establish service and support requirements as well as facilitate and improve the effectiveness of communication. Understands the business, assists in the prioritization of projects, ensures that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment, and directs IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy. Collaborates with Project Managers to discuss staffing needs, high-level timelines, and the associated cost. Communicates technology strategy, plans, and status to the business community. Manages customer plans and expectations. Negotiates Service Level Agreements (SLA). Coordinates overall solution design and delivery and reports on the status of projects, resolving any project issues. Evaluates project objectives and advises on project prioritization. Participates in the development of long-range technology strategies and directs projects towards desired technology strategies. Analyzes and advises on new business initiatives. Stays abreast of industry trends in the business and technology.
Coordinates and provides administrative support for the opening of new franchises and the maintenance of existing franchises in an organization.: Prepares application documentation for review. Organizes meetings and manages travel details for key visitors. Composes and prepares confidential correspondences. Enters data and maintains franchise database. Coordinates the upload of maps, e-brochure text, photos, and other online information for new franchises, and updates this data for existing franchises. Responds to e-mail and website inquiries. Assists with the processing of franchise opening guides, contracts, and other documentation needed for activating new franchises in the system. May participate and assist in monthly budget reviews of franchises. May monitor and coordinate franchise fee payments.
