Organizes, directs and administers operations within a facility that provides assisted living services.: Oversees the overall management and the day-to-day operations of an assisted living facility while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Plans, installs, directs, coordinates, and evaluates an administrative management organization within the facility to integrate functions such as fiscal planning and controls, staffing, procurement and storekeeping, grounds and building maintenance, transportation, communication, housekeeping, dietary, and safety programs. Ensures continuity and consistency in delivery and quality of services. Develops and implements an annual business plan that achieves financial goals while meeting reasonable customer expectations. Directs and supervises the work of staff in providing for the care and needs of the residents. Develops, maintains and implements policies and procedures. This position typically has subordinate managers or supervisors reporting to it. Confers and cooperates with management personnel in formulating administrative and operational policies and procedures. Reviews and analyzes expenditure, financial, and operations reports to determine requirements for assisted living operations. Approves requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies. Implements programs and changes to enhance resident satisfaction and provide for new or prospective resident needs. Implements approaches and services to maintain or enhance resident independence. Prepares and manages the operational budget. This position typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five or more years of management experience in assisted living operations.

Administrator College

Oversees and coordinates all administrative affairs of a college, as the senior administrative officer. Administers fiscal operations such as budget planning, personnel, purchasing, and physical plant. Directs hiring and training of personnel. : Negotiates for improvement of and additions to school buildings and equipment. Directs and coordinates activities of administrative staffs and services. Uses expertise and judgment for planning and accomplishing goals. May develop, devise, and execute policies and procedures for various school activities.

Medical Practice Administrator

Directs the overall operation and provides executive leadership in a medical group/physician practice.: Responsible for the overall direction of the medical group to include patient care, physician employment, strategic planning, marketing, and financial performance. Establishes strategic plans and guides implementation. Confers with executive management to plan operational objectives, to develop policies and procedures, to coordinate functions and operations between divisions, departments and satellite locations, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Directs and coordinates formulation of financial programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations and guides changes needed to reach financial goals. Represents the organization to major external authorities and constituencies. Plans and develops policies designed to improve the organization's image and relations with patients, providers, employees, and the general public. Selects and evaluates performance of executive staff for compliance with established policies and objectives and contributions in attaining objectives. An advanced degree in a field of health or business is typically required for this position.

Credentialing Administrator

Credentials and recredentials participating providers and facilities in the health plan. Analyzes and resolves complex provider issues relative to credentialing, enrollment, billing, and payers. Coordinates and performs enrollment of assigned providers and physicians in appropriate health plans to ensure satisfaction of the health plan requirement for acceptance. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a health care field or be a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). Typically requires experience sufficient to provide a working knowledge of NCQA and JCAHO.: Reviews and processes provider applications and determines eligibility by applying NCQA, JCAHO, and URAC standards as related to the network. Performs primary source verification for initial and recredentialing of assigned providers utilizing NCQA and other federal and state regulatory requirements. Communicates with providers regarding credentialing status and information. Creates and maintains participating provider or practitioner credentialing files. Reviews and analyzes provider file changes. Creates practitioner profiles for recredentialed practitioners. Prepares and sends application packets to participating providers and facility applicants, requesting the return of basic credentialing information. Reviews applications for completeness and assists the applicant in completing the application. Prepares routine credentialing reports. Reviews and monitors provider complaint and grievance files.

MRI Administrator

Supervises and coordinates a medical center unit that provides MRI services to patients.: Hires, develops and motivates a qualified staff to ensure effective medical unit operation. Coordinates the logistical needs of the MRI unit to provide for proper levels of supply inventory, equipment maintenance and work environment. Performs marketing and referral development with referring practitioners. Prepares patient volume, referral tracking and other reporting necessary for management of the facility. Analyzes unit budget to identify budget needs or changes. A Bachelor's degree is typically required with experience in medical business management or medical magnetic imaging.

Compensation and Benefits Administrator

Develops, implements, and administers organization's compensation and benefit programs. Coordinates and administers functions of the Human Resources Department in providing equitable compensation for all employees and the best benefits possible within the parameters of the company's resources.: Communicates with employees regarding compensation and employee benefit related issues. Administers employee benefit programs, possibly including group medical, dental, vision, prescription, disability, group life, AD&D, EAP, 401(k), and flexible spending account programs. Researches and advises on benefit program enhancements. Participates in contract negotiations and renewals. Serves as primary contact for plan vendors and third party administrators. Assures compliance with State and Federal regulatory agencies. Processes enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, QDRO's, QMCSO's, distributions, hardships, and compliance testing. Manages open enrollment and program implementation processes. Oversees reconciliation and preparation of all billings related to benefit plans. Implements and monitors adherence to compensation and employee benefit policies, procedures, and practices. Coordinates job evaluation activities with the Compensation Committee. Administers the organization's executive incentive program.

Medical Records Administrator

Plans, develops, and administers health information system for health care facility consistent with standards of accrediting and regulatory agencies and requirements of health care system. Develops and implements policies and procedures for documenting, storing, and retrieving information, and for processing medical-legal documents, insurance data, and correspondence requests in conformance with Federal, State, and local statutes. : Supervises staff, directly or through subordinates, in preparing and analyzing medical documents. Participates in development and design of computer software for computerized health information system. Coordinates medical care evaluation with medical staff and develops criteria and methods for such evaluation. Develops in-service educational materials and conducts instructional programs for health care personnel. Analyzes patient data for reimbursement, facility planning, quality of patient care, risk management, utilization management, and research. May manage medical records department.

LAN/WAN Administrator

Administers design, organization, and implementation of network, and oversees technical support staff who manage and maintain hubs, servers, and routers. Responsibilities require an understanding of both networking and telecommunications theory and practice. May require a college degree or extensive education and experience in a related field.: Interfaces with users, technical teams, and vendors on new technology and system upgrades and to determine software and hardware installation requirements. Reads technical manuals and brochures to determine equipment which meets establishment requirements. Assists in presenting recommendations related to purchasing and installing hardware, software, and telecommunication equipment. Prepares charts and diagrams to explain network operation and to train managers and others in proper use. Organizes training programs and prepares checklists and processes for help desk. May oversee or assist in installation of communications hardware. May perform minor equipment repairs.

Web Content Administrator

Composes and develops written and graphical content for website to provide information on products and services or entertainment to site visitors. Manages content of website by gathering information and integrating data from other departments. Develops user interface and design standards, including improvement of features, to attract visitors to the website. This position is less technical than Webmaster or Web Developer because of lesser knowledge and responsibilities for site programming code. This job typically requires a degree in journalism, marketing, graphic design, or a related field.: Monitors trends and activities on World Wide Web to develop guidelines to increase presence and improve design and usability. Works closely with other departments, such as marketing and engineering, to ensure that site content is accurate. May create links to other websites.

Unix Administrator

Provides overall support and maintenance of operating systems and network connectivity for all UNIX systems. Monitors system performance on a daily basis to ensure adequate response times for production applications. Establishes and documents procedures to ensure data integrity including system fail-over and backup/recovery. : Provides reliable backup services. Conducts routine hardware and software audits of UNIX servers for compliance with established standards, policies, configuration guidelines, and procedures. Provides recommendations to management on changes, upgrades, and new hardware as required. Provides support to vendors and application programmers as necessary. Maintains current operating systems, PTF levels, and patch versions that comply with vendor requirements. Coordinates hardware repairs with appropriate vendors on supported platforms as necessary.
