Assistant General Manager Farm

Assists General Manager in coordinating all aspects of farming operations and managing farm involved in planning, growing, raising, harvesting, monitoring, packing, and marketing farm products for corporations, cooperatives, and other owners. Assistant General Manager Road Production

Assists Director in overseeing and coordinating activities concerned with setting up facilities for rehearsals and/or performances of concerts, circuses, ice skating shows, rodeos, or similar touring road shows. Assists in planning layout of performance and backstage areas to conform with specifications considering such factors as type and space of facility. Makes travel and hotel arrangements and negotiates with local renting company(s) to arrange additional personal space for entertainers and/or animals at each facility used on tour.: Undertakes administrative work of the job, such as paper work, phone calls, and planning, which may include confirming and re-confirming hotel reservations, radio and television interviews, meetings, and sound checks, and show times at each city and/or venue for the current tour. Assists in coordinating activities of various departments to ensure arrangements are made for providing water and feed for animals, if necessary, disposal of rubbish and garbage, and to ensure that work crew has equipment and other facilities prepared for each performance. Assists in hiring and overseeing work crew. Ensures artists' requests and requirements are met. May count daily receipts and verify amount against number of tickets sold. May be designated according to type of show.

Telecommunications General Manager

Directs and coordinates overall operation and activities of telecommunications organization, and provides executive leadership to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits. Establishes strategic plans and guides implementation of those plans. Plans and develops organization policies and goals, and implements goals through subordinate administrative personnel. Assistant General Manager- HMO

Assists General Manager with the overall operation and provides executive leadership in a health maintenance organization (HMO). Contributes toward establishment of strategic plans and in implementation of those plans. Provides input in planning operational objectives, developing policies and procedures, coordinating functions and operations between divisions, departments, and/or satellite locations, and establishing responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives.: Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives, and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Participates in formulation of financial programs to provide funding for new or continuing operations and guides changes needed to reach financial goals. Represents the organization to major external authorities and constituencies. Plans and develops labor and public relations policies designed to improve the organization's image and relations with patients, providers, employees, and the general public. Evaluates performance of lower-level staff for compliance with established policies and objectives and contributions in attaining objectives.

Physician General Practice

Diagnoses and treats variety of diseases and injuries in general practice. Conducts fitness physical examinations. Examines patients, using medical instruments and equipment. Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition. Analyzes reports and findings of tests and of examination, and diagnoses condition.: Attends to patients in clinic or hospital, and reexamines disability cases periodically to verify progress. Administers or prescribes treatments and drugs. Inoculates and vaccinates patients to immunize patients from communicable diseases. Advises patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease. Provides prenatal care to pregnant women, delivers babies, and provides postnatal care to mother and infant. Oversees maintenance of case histories, health examination reports, and other medical records. Formulates and administers health programs. Inspects and makes recommendations regarding sanitation and elimination of health hazards. Reports births, deaths, and outbreak of contagious diseases to governmental authorities. Refers patients to medical specialist or other practitioner for specialized treatment. Performs minor surgery. May make house and emergency calls to attend to patients unable to visit office or clinic. May conduct physical examinations to provide information needed for admission to school, consideration for jobs, or eligibility for insurance coverage.

Trucking Company General Manager

Directs and coordinates the operations and activities of a trucking company involved in transporting finished goods and raw materials over land, typically from manufacturing plants to retail or distribution centers. Formulates policies, programs, and procedures for transportation system, including schedules, rates, routes, allocation and assignment of company drivers and vehicles, selection and use of contract drivers, and other company operations. Recommends or approves capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment or vehicles which would increase efficiency and services of company. Enforces compliance of administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and government regulations. Negotiates contracts with outside drivers.

Hotel Assistant General Manager

Assists General Manager in all aspects and daily operations of a hotel to ensure efficient and profitable operation. Establishes standards for personnel administration and performance, service to patrons, room rates, advertising, publicity, credit, food selection and service, and type of patronage to be solicited. Delegates authority and assigns responsibilities to department heads.: Collaborates with Marketing Department to attract new customers while retaining existing accounts. Assists in the strategic planning and direction of the organization. General Manager - HMO

Reports to the board of directors and may be a member of the board. Responsible for the profitability of the organization. Establishes strategic plans and guides implementation. Confers with executive management to plan operational objectives, to develop policies and procedures, to coordinate functions and operations between divisions, departments and satellite locations, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. An advanced degree in a field of health or business is typically required for this position.

Division General Manager

Manages and coordinates division functions to ensure quality decision making, operation efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Prepares and monitors division budget.: Organizes resources to ensure effective production of goods and/or services. Prepares schedule and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
