Chief Advertising Officer

Advertising Agency President

Oversees, directs, and coordinates the overall administration and all activities of an advertising agency. Formulates plans to extend business with established accounts. Promotes solicitation of new accounts. Plans and executes advertising policies of the organization. Directs subordinate managerial personnel who are engaged in developing and producing advertisements for clients. Advertising & Public Relations Manager

Plans and executes all aspects of a wide variety of an organization's special events, promotions, and activities as well as media and community relations projects. Works with media personnel, illustrators, photographers, advertising agencies, and Sales Promotion and Marketing Departments to promote products and concepts of the organization through various advertising media and publications. Assumes an active role in community relations. A college degree in addition to sales and/or marketing experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job. Typically reports to Advertising Director and may have supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies the manager may be the first level supervisor over subordinate staff.: Generates advertising income via the Internet through coordination with website managers.
