Directs, develops, and implements the organization's strategic and tactical advertising plans from a business, sales, and technical perspective to grow company revenue in accordance with organization goals and objectives. Plans and executes advertising sales policies of organization. Confers with management to determine sales objectives and develop policies to achieve organization goals. Monitors the market position of competing services and organizations and evaluates their marketing and sales techniques. Develops, coordinates, and executes advertising sales objectives, strategies, and advertising and promotional programs to gain market share.: Negotiates agreements with outside sales representatives. Manages the development of sales materials, including media kits. Develops contract strategy and negotiates contracts in accordance with company standards and business requirements. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with clients, agency representatives, and a healthy pipeline of prospects. Maintains expert knowledge of online marketing trends to help create innovative and strategic ad sales solutions. Develops compelling customized proposals and presentation, and conducts high-level client presentations. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns. Oversees and approves budget planning and sales forecasting and prepares other reports for management as requested. Works in conjunction with and ensures support for sales administration, product development, marketing communications, and research. Assists with the preparation of manuals and technical publications. Communicates and enforces company policy and practices. Trains, directs, develops, motivates, and evaluates sales personnel.

Calls upon potential customers to point out advantages of publication and presents prepared mock-ups with mats and copy with headings. : Prepares list of prospects from leads in other papers and from old accounts. Obtains pertinent information concerning prospect's past and current advertising for use in sales presentation. May collect payments due.

Advertising Top Officer

Chief Advertising Officer

Plans and executes all aspects of a wide variety of an organization's special events, promotions, and activities as well as media and community relations projects. Works with media personnel, illustrators, photographers, advertising agencies, and Sales Promotion and Marketing Departments to promote products and concepts of the organization through various advertising media and publications. Assumes an active role in community relations. Plans and implements advertising and public relations programs designed to increase business and to create and maintain favorable public image for the organization. Collaborates with organization's management team on strategies and plans to develop and execute organization events.: Reviews and approves media presentations. Cultivates and maintains relationships with editors, reporters, partners, customers, and investors.

Advertising Promotions Coordinator

Coordinates the promotion and direction of the marketing or service activities, improvement of organization's product image, market data, and information. Plans and coordinates sales policies and programs to foster and promote customer patronage. Manager Advertising

Manages the advertising function of the organization working with media personnel, illustrators, photographers, advertising agencies, and sales promotion and marketing departments to promote products and concepts of organizations through various advertising media. Reviews and approves media presentations. Tracks and manages research activities concerned with gathering information or statistics pertinent to planning and execution of sales promotion campaigns. A college degree in addition to sales and/or marketing experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job. Typically reports to Advertising Director and may have supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies the manager may be the first level supervisor over subordinate staff.: Generates advertising income via the Internet through coordination with website managers. Determines promotion strategies and pricing for online advertising opportunities. Allocates advertising space to departments or products of establishment. Reviews rates and classifications applicable to various types of advertising and provides authorization. Oversees the arrangement of all advertisements. May authorize information for publication, such as interviews with reporters or articles describing phases of establishment activity.
