Field Representatives Director

Administers educational and job training programs for veterans of armed services, as established by government regulations, and directs activities of field representatives: develops and presents reports concerning activities, expenses, budget, new or revised government statutes and rulings, and other items affecting program. Evaluates curriculums, and reviews and approves or rejects applications of schools, establishments, or individuals offering educational or training facilities. Determines eligibility of veterans to receive education or training. Confers with government agencies on problems and other matters relating to program. Interprets regulatory or administrative decisions to execute legal requirements, establishes guides for making decisions in field, and assigns work load to subordinates.

Directs and coordinates admissions program of public or private college or university, according to policies developed by governing board: directs program of admissions counseling and reviews exceptional admissions cases. Confers with staff of other schools to explain admission requirements and student transfer credit policies. Admissions Manager

Manages the daily operations of the admissions program at a private or public college or university and provides direct supervision to the admissions program team leads who are responsible for daily admissions activity. Reports to the Admissions Director or Dean of Admissions.: Organizes, administers, and supervises the work and procedures of the admissions program. Oversees the planning and implementation of recruiting programs. Assists in the development and updating of promotional resources/materials. Assists in the development of the college/university marketing plan. Assists in the development of policies and procedures for admissions as required. Performs daily tracking of processed forms and interactions to ensure the correct routing of data. Monitors, tracks, and manages admissions leads using tracking system guidelines. Oversees assigned personnel, including work allocation, training, performance evaluations, recommendations for personnel actions, and problem resolution. May report on press coverage and maximize coverage with local and regional media.

Supervisor Hospital Admissions

Supervises, coordinates, and participates in daily activities of the registration staff in pre-admission, registration of inpatients and outpatients in hospital or other medical facility, insurance verification, reception, cashiering, and preparation of required records. Supervises employees who interview patient or patient's representative to obtain necessary personal, financial, and insurance data and to determine eligibility for admission. Depending on size of medical unit, may report to Manager, Head, or Director.: Confers with physicians, nursing, housekeeping, transport, and other staff members to coordinate and schedule admission of patients. Assigns accommodations based on physician's admittance orders, patient's preference, nature of illness, availability of space, and other information. Prepares records of admission, transfer, and other required data. Notifies appropriate departments of patient's admission. Reviews work of interviewers and other clerical personnel. Compiles and keeps records of admissions and discharges, and compiles occupancy-census data. Trains staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Examines academic records of students to determine eligibility for graduation or for admission to college, university, or graduate school. Studies course prerequisites, degree equivalents, and accreditation of schools, and determines grade-point averages to establish students' qualifications for admission, transfer, or graduation. : Compares transcripts of courses with school entrance or degree requirements and prepares evaluation form listing courses for graduation.
