Administrative Engineering Director

Directs administrative engineering staff, scheduling, coordinating, and planning. Organizes and coordinates various sections of engineering. Directs planning and establishing of engineering schedules and follows up performance against estimates. Typically reports to Engineering Top Officer and Administrative Engineering Manager reports to this position.: Recommends new policies or procedures as necessary. Directs assembly of cost control and statistical data and the development of material selection standards. Approves process specification and design standards. Oversees preparation and control of departmental annual budget.

Top Administrative Officer

Plans, develops, and establishes policies and objectives of functions in accordance with objectives of organization. Has multifunctional support responsibilities such as, but not limited to, administrative functions, data communications, facilities management, human resources services, insurance, office services, purchasing, security, etc. Typically reports to Chief Executive Officer or Chief Operating Officer level, and director-level personnel report to this position.: Confers with organization officials to plan business objectives, to develop organizational policies and to coordinate functions. Provides support and assistance to other functions and operating units of the organization. Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices. Develops human resource management policy and programs that contribute to the acquisition, retention, motivation, and development of company employees capable of meeting current and future organizational needs and objectives. Provides physical working environment that provides a positive, productive climate for operations through maintenance, planning, and general building services. Ensures efficiency of internal non-electronic data processing (EDP) management systems through improved organizational structure, continued surveillance, work methods programs, and establishing performance standards. Provides non-EDP equipment and supplies that effectively meet operational requirements with a minimum expenditure. Counsels management on strategic planning and organization design processes, combined with recommendations and insights that contribute to overall plan strategic management and corporate direction. May guide the company's formal strategic planning effort. May provide general legal counsel to management, with a minimum use of external counsel.

Diagnostic Imaging Administrative Director

Provides leadership in administration, technical direction, and long range planning for the Diagnostic Imaging Department and other imaging services. This is the top non-physician administrative position within diagnostic imaging.: Coordinates and directs the operational, financial and staffing activities of a group of imaging departments and services such as Radiology, Special Procedures, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Angiography and routine diagnostics. Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates outcomes of the department’s strategic plans. Develops strategic initiatives and transforms initiatives into action plans. Performs regular data analysis of internal medical cost reports to identify variances so that areas of focus may be identified and resources may be appropriately deployed. Works closely with the Radiologist (M.D.) to ensure that diagnostic imaging services are provided in an efficient and effective manner. Prepares and manages the departmental budget. Hires, develops and motivates a qualified diagnostic imaging department staff. Develops policies and procedures, directs technicians and non-technical staff, and ensures adequate staffing for the department. This position requires certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a minimum of five years of management experience in diagnostic imaging.

LAN/WAN Administrative Manager

Manages, coordinates, and monitors activities of employees engaged in supporting the organization's telecommunications and PC network activities, including documentation, administration, technical services, and procurement. This position typically reports to director level, is typically the second level of management, and may have first level supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies the manager may be the first level supervisor over subordinate staff. Typically requires eight to ten years of increasingly responsible experience in network operations, analysis, and design.: Reviews report of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to ascertain costs and plan operating changes within department. Manages the testing and analysis of all network components including complex software, hardware, and transmission systems. Recommends corrective actions in order to ensure high quality, efficient network performance. Oversees the development of project plans designed to implement new technology and enhance existing systems. Develops and implements policies and standards and ensures their conformance to the organization's security procedures and company objectives. Confers with various vendors to evaluate hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment and recommends procurement in coordination with department and organization standards. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of network operating systems and network management tools, as well as extensive experience with telecommunications hardware such as LAN hubs, fiber optics, bridges, routers, universal cabling, gateways, etc.

Administrative Engineering Supervisor

Engineering Supervisor Administrative

LAN/WAN Administrative Supervisor

Supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in maintaining, analyzing, monitoring, evaluating, implementing, or installing LAN or WAN network systems and resolving user data communication problems to ensure availability to network user. Distributes work assignments and monitors workers' daily logs. Usually requires a four-year college degree in field of specialty; however, some organizations may accept equivalent education and experience combined.: Explains data communications diagnostic and monitoring procedures to operators following vendor's equipment and software instructions. Explains and demonstrates installation of data communication lines and equipment to operators, using hand tools and following vendor manuals. Enters diagnostic commands into computer and determines nature of problem to assist operators to resolve data communication problems. Enters record of actions taken to resolve problem in daily log. Analyzes trends and assists in design and development of network plans. Tests, identifies, and resolves complex problems. Attends staff meetings to report on and resolve recurrent data communications problems. Interfaces with vendors to learn about new data communications technology and system upgrades.

Personnel Administrative Assistant

Assists personnel to ensure an efficient workflow. Coordinates events, creates presentations, and engages in special projects. Handles sensitive and confidential information.: Assists employees with schedules and paychecks. Designs and compiles general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. Processes payroll and ensures accuracy. Maintains employee files. Prepares records for off-site storage. Designs forms for archives. Develops effective space management plan for on-site records. Improves file tracking system. Handles employment verifications and designs forms to expedite process. May assist the receptionist.

Administrative Associate

Performs administrative, supervisory, and complex clerical work. Interacts with all levels of executive management, support staff, clients, etc., with strictest confidence, professionalism, and respect. Exercises judgment and initiative in answering verbal and written communications with internal and external contacts and in interpreting departmental policies, rules, and regulations. Assists in administration of department policies and procedures. Establishes and manages a variety of administrative processes including requisitions, expense reconciliation, and contact database management.: Assists in the preparation and editing of presentations. Manages active calendars by organizing, coordinating, and making arrangements for meetings and conferences, including scheduling rooms, food service, travel, and housing for internal and external contacts. Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities of an organization. Operates office machines, such as computer, fax machines, adding machines, and duplicating machines. Coordinates operation and maintenance of all office equipment and recommends lease or purchase of office equipment. Opens and routes incoming mail and responds to telephone messages, e-mail, and correspondence. Assists other executives/administrative assistants with project-based work. Assists with a variety of special projects as requested. May take dictation. May greet and assist visitors. May prepare payroll, computing wages, taxes, premiums, commissions, and payments. May prepare, issue, and send out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, and checks. May keep books. May purchase and maintain office supplies.

Administrative Clerk

Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities of establishment, performing variety of following or similar clerical duties and utilizing knowledge of systems or procedures: copies data and compiles records and reports. Operates office machines, such as typewriter, adding, calculating, and duplicating machines. Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail. May take dictation. May greet and assist visitors. May prepare payroll. May keep books. May purchase supplies. May operate computer terminal to input and retrieve data. May be designated according to field of activity or according to location of employment as adjustment clerk; airport clerk; colliery clerk; death-claim clerk; field clerk. May be designated: agency clerk; auction clerk; construction-records clerk; shop clerk.
