Faculty Dean

Develops academic policies and programs for college or university: directs and coordinates activities of deans and chairpersons of individual colleges. Advises on personnel matters. Determines scheduling of courses and recommends implementation of additional courses. Coordinates activities of student advisors. Participates in activities of faculty committees, and in development of academic budget. Advises president, educational institution on academic matters. Serves as liaison officer with accrediting agencies which evaluate academic programs. May serve as chief administrative officer in absence of president, educational institution. Private Duty Nurse

Contracts independently to render nursing care, usually to one patient, in hospital or private home. Administers medications, treatments, dressings, and other nursing services, according to physician's instructions and condition of patient. Observes, evaluates, and records symptoms. Requires RN license.: Applies independent emergency measures to counteract adverse developments, and notifies physician of patient's condition. Directs patient in good health habits. Gives information to family in treatment of patient and maintenance of healthful environment. Maintains equipment and supplies. Cooperates with community agencies furnishing assistance to patient. May supervise diet when employed in private home. May specialize in one field of nursing, such as obstetrics, psychiatry, or tuberculosis.

Security Guard Security Service

Observes and reports activities at client's site assigned by security contract service. Provides security and safety for client's property and personnel. Controls access to site by ensuring proper identification of employees or visitors and prepares security logs. Assists visitors with legitimate need to gain entry to facility. Monitors entrances and exits to facility, either at guard station, or by closed-circuit television, and acts to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry. Makes periodic walking tours of buildings and grounds to check doors, windows, and other entries to ensure they are properly secured. Reports any observed irregularities, such as presence of unauthorized people, fire hazards, leaking pipes, unsecured entries, and faulty equipment.: Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors and premises. Investigates disturbances, and in the event of emergency, maintains order and safety of personnel; serves as liaison with emergency response units. Sounds alarm and/or calls police, fire, or emergency personnel by telephone in case of fire, difficulty with unauthorized people, or medical emergencies.

Prepares and delivers lectures to students. Compiles bibliographies of specialized materials for outside reading assignments. Stimulates class discussions. Compiles, administers, and grades examinations, or assigns this work to others. Directs research of other teachers or graduate students working for advanced academic degrees. Conducts research in particular field of knowledge and publishes findings in professional journals. Performs related duties, such as advising students on academic and vocational curricula, and acting as adviser to student organizations. Serves on faculty committee providing professional consulting services to government and industry. May be designated according to faculty rank in traditional hierarchy as determined by institution's estimate of scholarly maturity as associate professor; professor; or according to rank distinguished by duties assigned or amount of time devoted to academic work as research assistant; visiting professor. May teach in two-year college and be designated teacher, junior college; or in technical institute and be designated faculty member, technical institute. May be designated: acting professor; assistant professor; clinical instructor; instructor; lecturer; teaching assistant.

Investigator Private

Conducts private investigations to locate missing persons, obtain confidential information, and solve crimes: questions individuals to locate missing persons. Conducts surveillance of suspects using binoculars and cameras. Conducts background investigation of individual to obtain data on character, financial status, and personal history. Examines scene of crime for clues and submits fingerprints and findings to laboratory for identification and analysis. Writes reports of investigations for clients. Reports criminal information to police and testifies in court. May investigate activities of individuals in divorce and child custody cases. May arrange lie detector tests for employees of clients or witnesses. May escort valuables to protect client's property. May be employed in commercial or industrial establishments for undercover work detective i or be assigned to guard persons bodyguard.

Private Label Manager

Manages the design and production of products for private labels. Develops budgets, merchandising strategies, sales targets, and profit objectives. Ensures that the label meets sales and profit goals.: Collaborates with the Product Manager and other key stakeholders to manage private label programs and enhancements. Manages all aspects of the private label program implementations, including program opportunity analysis and recommendations, program tracking, identifying program requirements, and overseeing program implementation activities. Provides training and technical sales support. Maintains program paperwork. Supports the Product Manager in business development efforts. Assists with daily product and support activities. Develops and manages private label product documentation, including presentations, product sales tools, operating guidelines, and best practices. Provides private label operational support as needed, including training, subject matter expertise, and serving as escalation point for problem resolution.

Chief Security Officer

Directs the planning and implementation of IT systems, business operation, and facility defenses against breech and vulnerability issues. Audits existing systems and directs the administration of security policies, activities, and standards. Leads and oversees all ongoing activities that serve to provide appropriate access to and protect the confidentiality and integrity of information in compliance with organization policies and standards. Plans, directs, trains, and manages the staff and operations of the Security Services Department.: Creates, documents, and implements security policies and procedures. Initiates activities to create information security awareness within the organization. Performs information security risk assessments and internal audits. Reviews all system-related security planning throughout the network and serves as a liaison to information systems and administration. Monitors compliance with information security policies and procedures, referring problems to the appropriate department manager or data owner. Advises the organization with current information about information security technologies. Controls building access and oversees patrol and control room activities and monitoring of all security systems including alarm and CCTV operations. Coordinates disaster planning and response. Develops and administers departmental budget and establishes appropriate staffing levels. Provides direct training and oversight to all employees, contractors, or other third parties with information security clearance on the information security policies and procedures. Ensures that all security personnel are regularly evaluated. Serves as an internal Information Security Consultant to the organization.

Director Security

Directs the development and implementation of security programs to guard against theft, vandalism, sabotage, violence, or other threats against the client, organization, or its employees. Directs installation, maintenance, and operation of electronic security systems, such as closed circuit surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, ultrasonic motion detectors, electric eyes, and outdoor perimeter and microwave alarms. Usually requires a four-year degree plus two years of relevant experience, or equivalent. Typically reports to a Top Officer, and Security Manager may report to this position.: Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and standards involving hazardous materials, environmental management, and fire safety. Assists with security clearances for new employees or visitors. Conducts internal investigations relating to sensitive security issues. Inspects premises to determine security needs, and recommends protection measures. Participates in investigation of crimes such as fraud, robbery, or arson. Notifies management of security weaknesses, and implements procedures for mitigating losses. May conduct internal investigations relating to sensitive security issues. May investigate acts of vandalism or theft, and works with law enforcement as necessary. Prepares written reports of results of investigations as required. May remove unruly individuals or detain them until they can be turned over to proper authorities. May testify in court.
