Shift Superintendent Caustic Cresylate

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in treating and distilling caustic cresylate to produce variety of cresol products: observes recording-instrument charts, flowmeters, and gauges to verify process conditions. Correlates instrument readings and test results to diagnose malfunctions in process. Trains workers in procedures for correcting machine malfunctions and in specifications for process changes. Inspects equipment for mechanical defects and malfunctions, such as leaks and excessive wear. Performs other duties as described under supervisor.

Performs accounting and administrative tasks including fills, credits, and assigning dealers to appropriate tables. consistent and regular attendance record. Informs Casino Shift Manager of all noteworthy, suspicious, or unusual activity. Reports any incidents or accidents. Interviews and selects new employees. Supervises, evaluates, trains, disciplines, and develops subordinates.

Shift Manager

Manages an assigned shift and oversees the effective utilization of employees, skills development, employee relations, production, quality, work environment, safety, policy administration, discipline, cost control, staffing, and problem solving. Assures production within established product specifications, monitors quality, and assures production of sufficient quantities to meet production schedules.: Organizes and coordinates daily work activities of personnel. Ensures operation within agreed budgets. Investigates ways to reduce waste, down time, and the manpower and effort needed to produce products without sacrificing quality. Disseminates organization's policies and communications. Ensures a safe and efficient work environment. Reports any incidents or accidents. Supervises, evaluates, trains, disciplines, and develops subordinates.
