Health Data Analysis Manager

Plans, implements, and leads the organization's information and reporting program. Oversees collection, analysis, presentation, and dissemination of all hospital data reported internally and externally and ensures integrity of analytic results. : Reports on, reviews, and maintains data that supports actual cost, medical management, and utilization analysis. Designs and develops data extraction and file manipulation techniques. Supervises a data resources team, including reviewing work quality and conducting performance reviews. Ensures that production reports are produced and include accurate information. Oversees the development, directing, execution, and outcomes measurement for performance improvement plans related to health data analysis. Assesses the specific information needs of various audiences. Serves as the primary contact with outside vendor contacts including data tool vendors, patient satisfaction vendors, etc. Collaborates with national, regional, and local organizations on healthcare data collection, analysis, measurement, and transparency. Assists with staff development and training in analytical skills and provides statistical expertise to managers and special project teams.

Clinical Research Manager

Oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of ongoing and new clinical research studies. Assists in all aspects of study design, implementation, and administration. Plans and organizes the daily operations of the Research Department, to include protocol and systems, budgeting, staffing, and grant/contract administration. Reports to the Chief Medical Officer. : Provides day-to-day technical leadership and administrative supervision to clinical and technical staff engaged in research. Ensures regulatory and scientific integrity of projects. Evaluates, monitors, and documents all study parameters. Provides initial contract review utilizing legal review and provides contract management. Forecasts product requirements for clinical trials. Organizes advisory and investigator meetings. Develops, implements, and evaluates specific research and data collection methodologies, protocols, systems, and techniques. Participates in experiment design. Develops quality standards and programs. Oversees budget review process and negotiations. Participates in staff hiring, provides training, allocates and coordinates work assignments, and evaluates performance of staff.

Clinical Services Director

Establishes appropriate levels of care and provides strategic direction and oversight of all clinical and educational programs in a hospice or home care organization. Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates outcomes of clinical service's strategic plans. Leads the development, implementation, and coordination of quality, cost effective patient care programs, contributing to excellent patient care, education, and outcomes. Typically requires licensure as a Registered Nurse with five years of clinical nursing experience.: Responsible for identifying and capitalizing on clinical program opportunities. Promotes and develops a clinical service culture throughout the organization. Works closely with the medical staff to ensure that clinical services are provided in an efficient and effective manner. Prepares and manages the departmental budget. Hires, develops, and motivates a qualified clinical services department staff.

Health Data Analysis Director

Directs the development of health data strategic plans, policies, and procedures for utilization and cost containment information. Leads the analysis, preparation, and presentation of outcomes using healthcare claims data, pharmacy data, and lab data.: Manages the development of data reports and/or products that will enhance the retention of current market share and attract new business by demonstrating cost containment. Interacts with the MIS Department extensively. Interviews, selects, and trains employees. Plans and directs employees' work. Evaluates employees' productivity and efficiency and settles any complaints and grievances.

Medical Clinical Specialist

Interprets and implements quality assurance standards in clinical area or hospital to ensure quality care to patients. Ensures appropriate care is provided to patients. Reviews quality assurance standards, studies existing policies and procedures, and interviews personnel and patients to evaluate effectiveness of quality assurance program. May report to Quality Assurance Head Hospital or a similar high-level position. Position typically requires a bachelor's degree in the field of nursing.: Serves as a professional resource to nursing staff. Writes quality assurance policies and procedures. Reviews and evaluates patients' medical records, applying quality assurance criteria. Selects specific topics for review, such as problem procedures, drugs, high volume cases, high risk cases, or other factors. Compiles statistical data and writes narrative reports summarizing quality assurance findings. May review patient records, applying utilization review criteria, to determine need for admission and continued stay in hospital. May oversee personnel engaged in quality assurance review of medical records.

Supervisor Clinical Engineering

Oversees planning, implementing, directing, and controlling activities, operations, and programs in the Clinical Engineering department. Typically requires a college degree and technical proficiency/knowledge of concepts, operation, repairs, and clinical equipment maintenance that may be acquired through three years of related clinical engineering experience.: Develops routine periodic maintenance, quality assurance testing, calibration, performance criteria, and emergency service response that will ensure safe and proper use of clinical equipment. Provides clinical engineering training and monitors employee work to ensure proper maintenance and of clinical equipment. Plans, organizes, and distributes the department work assignments. May order supplies and maintain supply inventory

OB/GYN Clinical Nurse

Provides professional nursing care for patients in the obstetrical and gynecological departments. Performs total patient care in the labor room, delivery room, postpartum unit, and nursery. Requires RN license.: Administers prescribed medications. Maintains patients' medical records. Assists physician during treatments, examinations, and surgical procedures. Treats psychological disorders to effect improved adjustments utilizing various psychological techniques, such as milieu therapy, psychodrama, play therapy, and hypnosis. Selects approach to use in individual therapy, such as directive, non-directive, and supportive therapy, and plans frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy. May collaborate with Psychiatrist and other specialists in developing treatment programs for patients. May instruct and direct students serving psychological internships in hospitals and clinics. May develop experimental designs and conduct research in the fields of personality development and adjustment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders. May serve as a consultant to industrial, social, educational, welfare, and other agencies on individual cases or in evaluation, planning, and development of mental health programs. May specialize in behavior problems and therapy, crime and delinquency, group therapy, individual diagnosis and therapy, mental deficiency, objective tests, projective techniques, or speech pathology.

Clinical Lab Technologist

Provides accurate, timely, and cost effective laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests. Examines blood and other body fluids microscopically. Makes cultures of body fluid and tissue samples to determine the presence of bacteria, fungi, parasites, or other microorganisms. Analyzes samples for chemical content or a chemical reaction and determines concentrations of compounds such as blood glucose and cholesterol levels. Types and cross matches blood samples for transfusions.: Evaluates test results, develops and modifies procedures, and establishes and monitors programs to ensure the accuracy of tests. Performs many types of tests in small laboratories, and generally has a specialty in large laboratories. Prepares specimens and analyzes the chemical and hormonal contents of body fluids if specializing in clinical chemistry. Examines and identifies bacteria and other microorganisms if specializing in microbiology. Collects, types, and prepares blood and its components for transfusions if specializing in blood bank or immunohematology technology. Examines elements of the human immune system and its response to foreign bodies if specializing in immunology technology. Prepare slides of body cells and examine these cells microscopically for abnormalities that may signal the beginning of a cancerous growth if specializing in cytotechnology. Performs complex protein and nucleic acid testing on cell samples if specializing in molecular biology. Complies with lab and/or medical center safety procedures. Identifies real or potential problem situations or equipment failures, attempts to resolve within area of specialty or knowledge, and refers complex issues to appropriate source. Completes records, reports, and other statistical information for master files or database. May supervise Clinical Laboratory Technicians.
