Staffing Manager

Oversees and manages the organization's recruitment and staffing functions. Promotes and sells staffing services to prospective clients and develops and maintains client relationships. Markets to clients by phone, conducts client meetings, and participates in networking events. Oversees mentoring and training of staff, and manages daily operations. Leads the team responsible for staffing and recruitment operations, including maintaining personnel requests, job description maintenance, and advertisement creation.: Interacts with client's hiring or requesting managers to determine needs and to ensure needs have been met. Leads staffing team in reviewing applications and resumes, screening and interviewing applicants, matching qualified candidates to jobs, and providing permanent or temporary placement of qualified candidates for required job assignments. Conducts thorough and objective referencing, including responsibility for obtaining applicable background checks. Provides feedback to hiring or requesting managers based on candidate skills and experience as required by the position. Solicits detailed feedback from hiring or requesting managers in order to ensure selection of the most qualified candidates. Educates and guides staff, assists in recruiting best practices and strategies, legal requirements, and company interviewing guidelines. Ensures consistent corporate image throughout recruiting campaigns. Sources potential candidates through all applicable means, including cold calling, Internet posting and search, networking, employee referrals, community-based partnerships, etc. Creates and implements staffing and employment strategies to enable the business.

Staffing Coordinator

Coordinates staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and to meet demands of department. Monitors reporting of staff hours. This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.: Completes daily staffing sheets. Interacts with employees to cover daily staffing requirements, including securing coverage for vacancy shifts, open positions, and vacations. Prepares and completes daily staff hours report, reporting problems with employee attendance as needed. Communicates with admissions on a daily basis for census and admission/discharge status of patients. Reviews daily punch detail report on each employee, verifies hours worked, corrects any errors, and identifies trends. Assists with orientation of new employees. Creates and distributes HR communications and helps to implement HR programs. Compiles, summarizes, and analyzes employee data, helping to coordinate HR training and workshops. May verify payroll accuracy for the Payroll Coordinator. May complete applicant flow log, agency usage, and accruals for department. May assist with employment advertising. May perform drug screening for the interview process. May assist with reporting and/or collecting employee information related to Workers' Compensation incidents.

Pump Tender Cement Based Materials

Tends one or more machines that pump concrete, grout, or dry mixtures of sand and cement through hoses to fill forms and crevices or to coat surfaces: positions hose or temporary pipeline and snaps couplings together. Shovels materials into hopper, moves lever to discharge materials from skip into hopper, or signals concrete-mixing-truck driver to fill hopper with concrete. Moves controls to start and operate mixer. Starts pump or compressor and turns valves to regulate air pressure and flow of materials through hose. May aim hose nozzle into space to be filled or at surface to be coated. May lubricate and repair machinery. May be designated according to type of machine tended as cement-gun operator; concrete-gun operator; concrete-pump operator; grout-pump operator.

Staffing Clerk

Compiles and records information about temporary job openings and refers qualified applicants from register of temporary help agency. Responds to hospital, business, or other type of organization requesting temporary workers and obtains and records job requirements. May give employment applications to applicants, schedule interviews with agency registration interviewers, or administer skill tests. Performs other clerical duties.: Reviews records to locate registered workers who match job requirements and are available for scheduled shift. Notifies selected workers of job availability and records referral information on agency records. Sorts mail, files records, and performs other clerical duties. May refer workers in specific occupations, such as nursing.

Agency Clerk

Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities of establishment, performing variety of following or similar clerical duties and utilizing knowledge of systems or procedures: copies data and compiles records and reports. Tabulates and posts data in record books. Computes wages, taxes, premiums, commissions, and payments. Records orders for merchandise or service. Gives information to and interviews customers, claimants, employees, and sales personnel. Receives, counts, and pays out cash. Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, and checks. Prepares stock inventory. Adjusts complaints. Operates office machines, such as typewriter, adding, calculating, and duplicating machines. Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail. May take dictation. May greet and assist visitors. May prepare payroll. May keep books. May purchase supplies. May operate computer terminal to input and retrieve data. May be designated according to field of activity or according to location of employment as adjustment clerk; airport clerk; colliery clerk; death-claim clerk; field clerk. May be designated: agency clerk; auction clerk; construction-records clerk; shop clerk.

Cashier Check Cashing Agency

Cashes checks, prepares money orders, receives payment for utilities bills, and collects and records fees charged for check-cashing service. May receive payment and issue receipts for such items as license plates.

Manager Employment Agency

Manages and coordinates employment services and business operations of private employment agency. The manager level is typically the second level of management and may have first level supervisors reporting to this position; however, in smaller companies the manager may be a first level supervisor over subordinate staff.: Directs hiring, training, and evaluation of employees. Analyzes placement reports to determine effectiveness of employment interviewers. Participates in development and utilization of job development methods to promote business for agency. Enforces, through subordinate staff, agency policies, procedures, safety rules, and regulations. Approves or disapproves requests for purchase of new equipment and supplies. Ensures maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment. Prepares budget requests. Investigates and resolves customer complaints. May negotiate leases and order equipment and supplies for agency.

Manager Travel Agency

Manages operation of a travel agency or travel department of an organization. Typically reports to a director and may have supervisors reporting to this position.: Plans work schedules for employees. Trains employees in advising customers on current traveling conditions, planning customer travel and itineraries, ticketing and booking functions, and in calculating costs for transportation and accommodations from current transportation schedules and tariff books and accommodation rate books. Advises on travel requirements and conditions such as visa, medical, foreign travel, etc. Reviews employee ticketing and sales activities to ensure cost calculations, booking, and transportation scheduling are in accordance with current transportation carrier schedules, tariff rates, and regulations and that charges are made for accommodations. Keeps employee records and hires and discharges employees. In an organization's travel department a primary objective is to ensure all accommodations are obtained at the best possible cost consistent with the travel needs of the organization. In a travel agency a primary objective is to sell travel tickets, packaged and specialized tours, and advises customers on travel plans. Coordinates sales promotion activities, approves advertising copy, and travel display work. Directs, coordinates, and participates in merchandising travel agency services, such as sale of transportation company carrier tickets, packaged or specialized tours, or vacation packages. Reconciles sales slips and cash daily.

Medical Staff Coordinator

Coordinates administrative support services for medical staff and medical staff officers. Coordinates processing of applications and appointments of medical staff and allied health professionals. Typically requires business or vocational training and related experience.: Oversees orientation of new medical staff members to hospital protocols and services. Coordinates communication of information between medical staff departments and administration. Coordinates and facilitates activities of medical staff committee meetings. Performs executive secretarial and office services for medical staff officers. Oversees billing, collection, and deposit of medical staff dues, including maintenance of related accounting records. May perform credentialing functions in smaller organizations.

Obstetrics Staff Nurse

Provides professional nursing care for patients in the obstetrical and gynecological departments. Performs total patient care in the labor room, delivery room, postpartum unit, and nursery. Requires RN license.: Administers prescribed medications. Maintains patients' medical records. Assists physician during treatments, examinations, and surgical procedures. Evaluates, plans, and documents the delivery room nursing process as needed.
