Supervises kitchen employees not actively engaged in cooking to ensure clean, efficient, and economical food service: assigns kitchen helper and other noncooking employees to such activities as dishwashing and silver cleaning. Inspects kitchens, workrooms, and equipment for cleanliness and order. Hires and discharges employees, and posts time and production records. Observes and evaluates employees' performance to devise methods for improving efficiency and guard against theft and wastage. Takes inventories of china, silverware, and glassware. Reports shortages and requisitions replacement of equipment from steward/stewardess or purchasing agent. May be working supervisor in establishments employing an executive chef, who devotes full time to supervising kitchen employees. May be designated according to area of work as pantry steward/stewardess.

Directs activities, either directly or through subordinates, concerned with sales of products or services of a highly complex nature. Plans, develops, establishes, and implements policies, procedures, and objectives of technical sales function in accordance with objectives of organization. Confers with organization officials to plan technical sales objectives, to develop sales policies, and to coordinate functions. Develops and maintains accounts and responds to bids and proposals. Targets and develops clients through existing database and contacts, advertising resources, and the Internet. Meets with clients to evaluate their technical needs and to recommend and provide consulting solutions.: Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Evaluates the market position of competing technical products, services, and organizations and their marketing and sales techniques. Devises sales strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volume. Forecasts semi-annual and annual sales projections. Directs preparation of required reports. Interprets and enforces company policy and practices. Ensures the adequacy of sales training programs. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Supervises and manages a team of Inside Sales Representatives who are responsible for generating inside selling activity. Maintains current relationships within accounts, developing new business opportunities and increasing market share.: Develops and executes a strategic plan to meet revenue goals. Updates and refines marketing and sales call strategies. Assists in the development of client service policies that promote good relations. Prepares a selection of management and activity reports. Provides training, guidance, and feedback to team members.

Sells and promotes products, systems, and services requiring technical knowledge of engineering and/or science and cost effectiveness using either inbound or outbound telephone calls, electronic media, and direct mail to selected customers and prospects.: Prospects and develops relationships with potential customers, or leads, to cultivate new business. Calls on management representatives to convince them of the desirability and practicability of products and services offered. Initiates sales calls to existing customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories. Follows up on leads from trade shows and other corporate marketing efforts. Works with customers and production engineering to determine how products or services could be designed or modified to best suit customers' needs. Demonstrates to potential customers how and why products and services would suit customer needs better than competitors products. Develops and prepares financial and operational estimates. Proposes changes in equipment or use of materials resulting in cost reduction or operational improvement. Reports on market changes affecting company products and services. May provide technical service for equipment and/or technical training for client employees.

Maintains and analyzes organization's general and subsidiary ledgers, verifying and entering into ledgers the details of the organization's financial transactions. Performs journal entry preparation and posting. Reports weekly cash projections. Reconciles and maintains bank accounts. Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable. Records assets and leases. Maintains payroll and personnel records. Files Federal and State payroll tax returns, and computes related deposits. Prepares financial statements and requested financial summaries and reports, including month- and year-end reporting.: Analyzes and corrects current-period errors in the general ledger. Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports. Produces and files program reports. Assists in monthly budget analysis. Prepares annual budget to include program allocation. Provides special information/reports for management as requested. Handles billing and collections.

Tests electric meters to detect cause of malfunctions and inaccuracy, and repairs meters: connects meter to test panel mounting standard meter and determines recording accuracy electric-meter tester. Changes connections to test panel and observes whether parts, such as coils and magnet, function according to standard. Adjusts test panel controls and observes dials to determine if meter's electrical readings are correct and turns setscrews to correct deviations. Determines if meter gears mesh properly by tactile examination and tightens or loosens screws to make adjustments. Adjusts timing mechanism on demand meters. Makes minor repairs, such as replacing wornout screws, jewels, and registers, and routes meters needing major overhaul to electric-meter repairer. May test accuracy of meters, using stroboscope to compare tested meter disk revolutions to those of standard. May test relays relay tester. May install and maintain test boards used to test function and accuracy of meters.

Sells company products by either inbound or outbound telephone calls. Generates revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products.: Initiates sales calls to existing customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories. Prospects and develops relationships with potential customers, or leads, to cultivate new business. Provides ongoing customer and technical service on existing accounts. May conduct on-site visit to customers.

Sells organization's products that are technical in nature by either inbound or outbound telephone calls. Generates revenue by promoting sales of new and existing technical products.: Initiates sales calls to existing customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories. Prospects and develops relationships with potential customers, or leads, to cultivate new business. Provides ongoing customer and technical training and service on existing accounts. May conduct on-site visit to customers.
