Directs and coordinates, through subordinate managerial personnel, activities of retail consumer products and services division. Scope of responsibilities typically include new accounts, branch operations, customer service, marketing, personal banking, private banking, and tellers. Acts under authority and responsibility delegated by corporate executive officer. NOTE--ERI's findings based on asset size.: Coordinates activities of assigned programs, determines methods and procedures for carrying out program, and assists in interpreting policies and practices. Directs or conducts management studies, prepares workload and budget estimates for specified or assigned operations, analyzes operational reports, and submits activity reports. Develops and recommends plans for expansion of programs, operations, and financial activities. May solicit new business or participate in community or service organizations. May authorize loans of specified types and amounts when permitted by institution regulations.

Directs human relations program: plans, organizes, and executes compliance programs in areas of employment, housing, and education under authority of federal, state, or local discriminatory legislation. Establishes and coordinates activities of local community relations committees. Conducts investigations to resolve complaints and report violations for adjudication. Plans informational programs to stimulate and maintain community interest and support. Cooperates with local, state, and federal governmental units and other organizations in identifying needs and providing assistance in enforcement of statutes.

Directs economic development planning activities for city, state, or region: negotiates with industry representatives to encourage location in area. Directs activities, such as research, analysis, and evaluation of technical information to determine feasibility and economic impact of proposed expansions and developments. Confers with governmental officials to effect changes in local policies or ordinances discouraging effective development.

Coordinates activities of service department in lawnmower sales and service establishment: directs activities of workers through supervisory staff. Discusses with supervisory staff methods of assembling and repairing lawnmowers to ensure compliance with prescribed procedures. Interviews and hires workers. Maintains time and production records. Answers questions and discusses complaints with customers regarding services as specified in equipment warranty agreement. Assembles and tests operation of new lawnmowers to prepare mowers for sales floor, following assembly and test procedures and using handtools.

Directs activities, either directly or through subordinates, concerned with sales of products or services of a highly complex nature. Plans, develops, establishes, and implements policies, procedures, and objectives of technical sales function in accordance with objectives of organization. Confers with organization officials to plan technical sales objectives, to develop sales policies, and to coordinate functions. Develops and maintains accounts and responds to bids and proposals. Targets and develops clients through existing database and contacts, advertising resources, and the Internet. Meets with clients to evaluate their technical needs and to recommend and provide consulting solutions.: Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Examines estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy. Evaluates the market position of competing technical products, services, and organizations and their marketing and sales techniques. Devises sales strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volume. Forecasts semi-annual and annual sales projections. Directs preparation of required reports. Interprets and enforces company policy and practices. Ensures the adequacy of sales training programs. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Services and sells to retail accounts within an assigned territory to ensure client standards are met and volume is increased. Interfaces with a number of different retail outlets that carry the manufacturer’s merchandise. Provides service and maintains a good working relationship with retailers. Builds rapport with clients and customers alike.: Sells and ensures quality in-class merchandising to include building displays, packing out product, and replenishing permanent secondary displays and maintaining salability of all authorized items. Achieves all merchandising objectives through the effective use of permanent secondary displays and other display vehicles established within the Retail Execution Plan. Maximizes sales and increases sales volume. Ensures proper level of stock is maintained and displayed appropriately with proper signage and favorable shelf placement. Resolves issues that may arise as a result of these inventory audits, and solves problems at the store level in order to maintain the standards established in the initial sales agreement. Fields questions and proactively develops plans of action in regards to resolving issues. Prepares for and responds to audits. Completes accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc. Reports weekly activity, expenses, competitive activity, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within assigned territory. Reports daily activities through the use of retail handheld units, synchronizing upon completion of each day.

Stocks store shelves and builds displays with specific product brand merchandise, and organizes backroom and/or freezer inventory. Rotates product through organized processes.: Ensures point-of-sale material is placed on shelves and displays. Establishes and maintains a rapport with key store individuals. Teams with Route Sales Representative to service store accounts within workload requirements. Identifies and communicates individual store problems and opportunities to the appropriate product brand personnel. Maintains a timely and accurate call schedule.

Services company seasonal products through retail accounts in assigned territory. Ensures product is accurately displayed and available for consumers. Maintains store presentation standards through day-to-day merchandising of all specific seasonal products, including resets, fixture installation, store sets, retrofits, inventory reconciliation, shelf maintenance, display maintenance, and point of purchase (POP) installation.: Stocks and arranges shelves and seasonal product displays in stores. Tracks store level inventory through product counts. Identifies opportunities for incremental display space to drive volume goals. Assists with product knowledge training to store personnel with the intention of allowing them to better drive sales to the end user. Provides excellent customer service on a daily basis to visiting consumers as they patrol the aisles and inquire about seasonal product(s). Provides daily feedback to the Market Sales Coordinator and District Manager regarding consumer response, retailer response, and business objectives to assist with target goals and objectives.

Investigates designs for improving performance or other factors, or to obtain data for development. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in field of specialty. Assists in the formulation of overall objectives, policies, plans, and programs, and provides technical and specialized functional services and recommendations for carrying them out. Determines nature of technical problems and possible solutions, such as product redesign, substitution of material or parts, or rearrangement of parts or subassemblies. Analyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives, and modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications. Initiates cost reduction proposals and investigates proposals from other sources, compiles appropriate information, makes recommendations for action, and checks on results obtained. Provide planning, direction, and coordination for all technical activities while achieving optimum use of workers, machines, materials, and facilities.

Sells new wireless products and services. Assists new and existing customers with the purchase of wireless equipment and services. Presents products and services to prospective customers through demonstrations and development of wireless communications solutions.: Prospects and generates new sales opportunities. Conducts all required processes and procedures to implement new service upon completion of sale. Initiates follow-up contact with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with all products and services purchased. Participates in the development and execution of promotional activities. Responds to customer inquiries, needs, and/or problems, which may include account research, explanation of equipment operation, and execution of warranty claims. Stays current with changes and developments in the wireless industry.
