For over 100 years, Borgess Medical Center has been proud to serve southwest Michigan. Our 424-bed health care facility is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan and offers a wide array of services and specialties.

    Unique features of care in the Birthing Center include:

  • Certified massage therapist for labor support (at no charge to the patient), as well as aroma therapy and music therapy

  • All labor and post-partum rooms are private

  • There are refrigerators in the post-partum rooms for family convenience

  • Liberal visiting hours - significant other can come anytime or stay for the entire time

  • Website photos

  • All RN staff

  • State-of-the-art security system to ensure safety for our newborns
