Community Support Specialists work directly with adults who have serious & persistent mental illness. Responsibilities include providing in home support, treatment planning, symptom monitoring & rehabilitation activities. Applicant will be required to complete paperwork by deadline and respond to situations that change rapidly by problem solving with treatment team members. Applicants must be organized, energetic, and willing to help others. Applicant will show initiative and have strong communication skills. Will need reliable transportation and flexibility with schedules.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services field such as Psychology, Criminal Justice, Counseling, Social Work,Education, Recreational Therapist, Human Development and Family Studies, Gerontology, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Sociology. This position will transport clients as needed and must have a good driving record and a valid driver's license.
